PSS Giraffe screw conveyors are designed to transport processed materials to the appropriate machines. Type B giraffes have a horizontal section that is easily detachable from the vertical section; type A giraffes have a rotating horizontal section. PSS giraffes can be used individually as an auxiliary device for a single machine or integrated into a production line.
They contribute greatly to production automation. Their main advantage is a smooth production flow and simplified handling of raw materials. With PSS giraffes, savings in time, energy and labour are guaranteed.
PSS giraffes are fitted with a two-screw system. Material prepared for processing is fed into the hopper, from where it is moved quickly and gently by the horizontal screw to the vertical screw and on to the outlet. The outlet height of the PSS giraffe can be adapted to each customer's individual requirements and needs.
PSS giraffes are easy and practical to control using the control buttons. The equipment can also include optional controls for adjusting the operation of each screw (increasing or decreasing its speed).
PSS giraffes comply with European regulations. They are fitted with all the safety devices needed to protect the operator during use and to prevent damage to the various parts of the equipment.
PSS giraffes are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; all external and internal surfaces in contact with the product are polished stainless steel. Their superior hygienic design guarantees compliance with the hygiene principles required when handling materials.
