PSS GS giraffe silos are used for temporary storage of raw materials before processing. After mixing or cutting, the raw materials are stored temporarily in the silo and then transported by a vertical screw to the next processing steps. These units are fitted with braked wheels so they can be moved and disconnected for cleaning.
PSS GS giraffe silos are easy and practical to control using the control buttons. The equipment can also include optional controls for adjusting the operation of each screw (increasing or decreasing its speed). Once connected to the network, the unit can be operated from the central control panel (CCP).
PSS GS equipment complies with European regulations. It is fitted with all the safety devices needed to protect the operator during work and to prevent damage to the various parts of the equipment.
PSS GS silos are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; all their surfaces, internal and external, in contact with the product are polished. Their superior hygienic design is the main feature of the PSS GS and guarantees compliance with the hygiene standards required when handling materials.
