PSS SMV mixers are designed for food industry operations and allow fast, high-quality mixing of any type of product. They ensure gentle, homogeneous mixing of products of any structure thanks to a vacuum system that prevents any air intake. Their special design guarantees optimum mixing times. The product is loaded into the SMV hopper, which is then closed with a vacuum lid.
The product is mixed by maximally overlapping paddles in an almost square two-level hopper. The rotating paddles move the product in all directions without compressing or crushing it, producing a final product of perfect consistency. PSS SMV mixers are characterised by fast emptying and minimal residue, which reduces the risk of cross-contamination.

Control
PSS SMV mixers are operated from the PSS CCP central control panel, whose ergonomic design allows an optimum working position. The colour touch screen is used to set programmes and process steps. Paddle speed, mixing time and emptying time are adjustable. The optional cooling system (N2 or CO2) allows the cooling, pulses and intervals to be adjusted.
Safety and handling
PSS SMV mixers comply with European standards. All electrical and moving components are integrated into the frame and are therefore protected. With the optional cooling system, the N2 or CO2 connections are placed behind guards, ensuring staff safety.
Hygiene and sanitation
PSS SMV bowls are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and all internal and external surfaces in contact with the product are polished. Their perfect sealing and hygienic design prevent bacterial growth and make cleaning easier.
PSS cooling system (N2 or CO2)
PSS SMV bowls can be fitted with a top-injection nitrogen (N2) cooling system and a top- or bottom-injection CO2 cooling system. This cooling system significantly extends product shelf life and reduces bacterial growth. The required crystallisation is achieved and the final product keeps its optimum structure during subsequent processing steps.
Vacuum system
PSS SMV mixers are fitted with a vacuum system that removes air bubbles from the product during mixing, giving a homogeneous structure. Thanks to this vacuum system, PSS SMV mixers contribute to the preparation of high-quality finished products.
